Drinker Biddle Adds Tracy Gregar Ferak as Products Liability Partner in Chicago

PHILADELPHIA—Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP has strengthened its products liability and mass tort litigation capabilities with the addition of partner Tracy Gregar Ferak in Chicago. Along with Ms. Ferak, Jeffrey B. Whitt is joining the firm as of counsel.

Ms. Ferak is a trial lawyer who focuses her practice on complex products liability litigation and commercial disputes. She has significant first and second chair trial experience and has served as national products liability counsel for a Fortune 100 manufacturing, technology and service company.

Most recently, Ms. Ferak was a partner at Reed Smith. She has tried cases to verdict in courts around the country, including trials involving automotive crashworthiness and service and supplier contract disputes. Ms. Ferak is a graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology, and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Mr. Whitt was formerly a partner at Reed Smith whose complex products liability litigation practice focuses on automotive crashworthiness, toxic tort, building systems, manufacturing equipment, and premises liability disputes throughout North America. He is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law and earned his bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University.
