United States - North Dakota

The U.S. Department of Justice prosecuted a securities fraud case brought against a former vice president of a now-defunct publicly traded oil and gas service company that collapsed, leaving more than $1 billion in shareholder losses. The former vice president is charged with orchestrating a scheme that caused the company to falsely report approximately $100 million in revenue.
