Underwriter’s Counsel for $213M University Project

Our firm served as underwriter’s counsel in the issuance of $213 million of The Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania Taxable Refunding Revenue Bonds, Series B of 2019 by the Pennsylvania Higher Educational Facilities Authority. The bonds, issued on behalf of the University of Pennsylvania, were issued on a taxable basis to advance refund prior tax-exempt bonds issued on the university’s behalf. Our firm has acted as counsel to the underwriters in over $2 billion in financings for the university since 2004.
