Rob Goldstein Bolsters FaegreBD's Natural and Organic Products Team

Rob Goldstein has joined Faegre Baker Daniels as counsel in the corporate practice where he develops practical business solutions for clients’ corporate and transactional matters. He is also a member of the natural and organic products segment, which is part of the firm’s industry-leading national food and agriculture industry group that includes more than 150 lawyers across 14 office locations. He shares time between FaegreBD’s Denver and Boulder offices.

With more than 25 years of experience, Goldstein advises on business ownership, formation, capital accumulation, acquisitions and dispositions. He has particular experience advising food manufacturers—organic, natural and conventional—on the operational and transactional issues unique to that industry. He also provides startup companies with business guidance on choice of entity, corporate formalities, shareholder and operating agreements, and contract drafting. For more established business clients, Goldstein counsels on operational issues such as vendor and supplier relationships, employment, protection of intellectual property, corporate governance, capital raising, contract interpretation and dispute analysis, and exit planning.

“I am excited to bring my practice to a firm that has decades of experience in the food and agriculture industry and a strong commitment to the natural and organic products sector,” said Goldstein.

Dan Williams—leader of the FaegreBD’s natural and organic products sector—said, “Rob is a huge addition to FaegreBD’s rapidly growing natural and organic foods team.   He allows the team to build on its core strengths of deep expertise in legal and regulatory issues affecting food companies, a full understanding of industry drivers for the natural and organics segment, and finding ways to provide legal services to this dynamic industry with an appreciation for the special needs and diverse challenges of brands and other companies in this market sector.”

Goldstein received his law degree from Temple University and bachelor’s from University of Pennsylvania. He sits on the board of directors for Naturally Boulder, Inc. and is involved in Slow Food Denver, Inc. and Allergy Safe Kids, Inc.
