The New York office is located in the heart of midtown Manhattan. Our attorneys are sought for their experience, client service and sound counsel. Our clients turn to us to help them with their most significant business challenges in the areas of commercial and class action litigation; white collar litigation; banking; corporate finance; mergers & acquisitions; venture capital & private equity; bankruptcy & restructuring; labor & employment; employee benefits & executive compensation; insurance regulatory; trusts & estates; and tax. We are proud to have been named numerous times as one of the Top 100 Best Places to Work by Crain’s New York Business.
Community Involvement
The firm is a proud signatory of the New York City Bar Association's Statement of Diversity Principles and an active supporter of the association’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion. Our attorneys provide pro bono legal services through KIND (Kids In Need of Defense), the New York Legal Assistance Group, TrustLaw, and other organizations. In addition, members of the New York office participate and contribute to fundraising and donation efforts throughout the year.
Recent community volunteer efforts include:
Food Bank of New York City
Attorneys and staff from the New York office participated in a community day of service at the Food Bank of New York City, which works to end food poverty in the city’s five boroughs, and helps low-income New Yorkers overcome their circumstances and achieve greater independence. Our office also hosts Jeans Day for a Cause, which generates donations for the Food Bank.
New York Cares
At the holidays, our office participated in a community day of service on behalf of the Winter Wishes program of New York Cares. The program matches holiday wishes from children and individuals in homeless shelters and schools with volunteers who purchase and sends gifts to community partners that distribute the gifts. These gestures help thousands of less fortunate New Yorkers experience the magic of the holiday season in a way that is personal and from the heart.
Coalition for the Homeless
We support the Coalition for the Homeless in several ways, through an MLK Day of Service Event and with Jeans Day for a Cause donations. The coalition is the nation’s oldest advocacy and direct service organization helping homeless men, women and children. Since its inception in 1981, the coalition has worked through litigation, public education and direct services to realize these goals.
