Former In-House Wall Street Counsel Sandra Grannum Joins The National Black Lawyers Top 100
Business litigation partner Sandra Grannum has been invited to join The National Black Lawyers Top 100, an organization that honors the legal excellence of the best Black attorneys in the U.S.
Grannum was nominated and selected as a member of this elite network of well-known practicing lawyers and leaders based on her professional reputation and accomplishments. She is the second Faegre Drinker partner to join this year, along with Tracey Salmon-Smith.
A former in-house Wall Street counsel, Grannum ensures that representation of financial and securities industry clients includes careful evaluation of litigation exposure, reputational risk and budgetary concerns. She concentrates on the securities industry, including broker-dealer arbitration, litigation, mediation and regulatory defense. A Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, Grannum has tried more than 60 arbitrations before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). She has also tried arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and JAMS, has handled appeals before the National Adjudicatory Council (NAC), and tries cases and argues appeals in state and federal courts. A recognized leader, Grannum serves on the firm’s governing board, co-chairs the firm’s nationwide securities and financial services practice group, and has been honored for her efforts to promote diversity in the profession and to advance the professional development of other female lawyers.
Grannum earned her bachelor’s degree from New York University and her Juris Doctor from Harvard.
