James Ellis-Rees advises businesses on transactional and commercial matters, drawing from his many years of experience as an in-house lawyer.
Before joining Faegre Drinker, James had senior roles in multinational industrial distribution, manufacturing and technology businesses managing a broad range of in-house matters including mergers and acquisitions, corporate, contracts, compliance (including anti-corruption and data protection), disputes, employment and property. He was global vice president for legal affairs at Optimas OE Solutions and previously associate general counsel at Anixter International and general counsel at Scipher plc.
James also worked in the corporate bond market in the City of London before becoming a lawyer.
