Aliyah Price provides guidance on regulatory, compliance and transactional matters to clients in the health care and health and life sciences industries.
Health Care
Aliyah provides support for health care clients on a number of transactional and regulatory issues, including federal health care fraud and abuse laws, state scope of practice laws, and compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Privacy and Cybersecurity
Aliyah advises clients across the health and health life science industry on compliance issues related to the GDPR, CCPA and other privacy statutes and regulations. In particular, she helps clients stay up-to-date on emerging U.S. state privacy laws. Aliyah also drafts and negotiates data protection agreements, consumer-facing privacy notices and policies and internal privacy resources.
Clinical Trials and Research
Aliyah counsels pharmaceutical companies to support drug research and development by negotiating and supporting the development of clinical trial agreements.
Prior Experience
Aliyah served as a legal extern in the corporate compliance department of a major health care provider, reviewing and revising HIPAA and other regulatory compliance policies. Aliyah also completed a legal internship with the FCC’s Telecommunications Access Policy Division, where she worked with the COVID-19 Telehealth Program and Rural Health Care Program.
Personal Interests
Aliyah enjoys hiking, baking, traveling and jogging.
