The MDL Factor: A Survey of Case Law Recognizing MDL
Docket management as a key factor in making rulings.
Peter Meyer and Eldin Hasic co-authored an article for the American Bar Association, highlighting the importance of multidistrict litigation (MDL). Over the last two decades, MDLs have become the primary tool to handle civil disputes among similar facts and questions of law, accounting for more than half of all federal civil lawsuits last year.
