Overview

Jon Bomberger advises clients in commercial real estate development, acquisition and finance. He leads Faegre Drinker's real estate practice in the firm's Fort Wayne office.

Real Estate Experience

Jon advises clients in commercial real estate development, including due diligence, acquisition, zoning, construction, financing and management of new and existing projects. He assists clients with real estate needs throughout northeast Indiana and the United States. Jon counsels clients in the following:

  • Office and industrial acquisition and development
  • Sale and leaseback transactions
  • Shopping center acquisition and development
  • Structuring and documenting mixed-use developments
  • Real estate exchange transactions
  • Commercial lease negotiation and drafting
  • Real estate finance
  • Real estate management
  • Zoning and land use planning

Economic Development Experience

Jon represents private and municipal clients in economic development projects, serving as both company and bond counsel in municipally financed transactions, and advises clients on economic development issues. He counsels clients on issues relating to state and local economic development incentives, including tax increment finance, tax abatements and tax credits.

Tax Credit Financing Experience

Jon advises private developers and municipal officials in structuring transactions to utilize federal and state tax credits in economic development projects, including federal New Market Tax Credits.

Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) Experience

Jon has advised Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and public institutions on the impact and requirements of Title II and Title III of the American with Disabilities Act, including requirements relating to the accessibility of websites and mobile applications under the ADA.
