Life Sciences & Biotechnology

Greg provides patent and transactional counseling for a broad range of life sciences technologies, including small molecule pharmaceuticals, mRNA and gene therapies, gene editing (CRISPR), protein and cell therapies, pharmaceutical formulations, synthetic biology, biomaterials, and food technologies. He works closely with clients to navigate complex IP due diligence processes, particularly in financing activities such as venture capital (seed, early and late-stage), public offerings, and partnerships, including collaborations with universities, clinical research organizations (CROs), contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs), and commercial licensing agreements with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Counseling

Greg's experience includes developing and implementing IP strategies, patent prosecution, IP due diligence (both buy- and sell-side), and IP risk assessment for venture financings, public offerings, and mergers and acquisitions. He has led numerous IP due diligence efforts and negotiations for both investors and companies involved in financings and acquisitions. Greg has represented venture capital firms and life sciences companies, positioning him as a go-to resource for IP-driven work.

Clean Technology

Greg also provides IP counseling for a broad range of clean technologies, including green and renewable materials, such as energy production and storage materials, biomaterials and metals.
