The city hosts an abundance of classic to cutting-edge cultural experiences with world-class concert halls, museums and theaters, prize-winning architectural masterpieces and gardens, and the mecca of couture shopping in Rodeo Drive. For the active Angelenos, LA offers 75 miles of coastline and hundreds of miles of biking and hiking trails. And of course, you can spend the day beachside and get a front-row seat to a gorgeous California sunset.

Community Involvement

Attorneys and staff colleagues regularly sponsor and participate in events that benefit those in need. They also raise money and volunteer their time with various nonprofit organizations and initiatives that are committed to caring for and further developing the surrounding communities.

Alliance for Children’s Rights

Los Angeles office attorneys participate in the “Adoption Day” efforts of the Alliance for Children’s Rights, an adoption program that helps finalize nearly one-third of all adoptions resulting from foster care in Los Angeles County. Our attorneys prepare documentation to finalize adoptions and represent adoptive parents at unopposed hearings. With many cases finalized on designated “Adoption Days,” the court devotes an entire afternoon to these hearings, with balloons, treats and entertainment to celebrate the creation of forever families. The Alliance’s Adoption Day program now serves as a national model to promote foster-care adoption.

Race for the Rescues

Our Los Angeles team raises money and participates in Race for the Rescues, an organization that believes that, by uniting animal lovers and animal welfare organizations, it can make our world a kinder place. The money raised by the annual fun walk/run is used to help save the lives of once-forgotten dogs, cats and horses and aid their adoption into stable homes. The organization also provides important community programs, such as veterinary care for the pets of low-income families, free spay and neuter clinics, and a shelter intervention program.

We have sponsored and participated in the Ronald McDonald House Walk for Kids, which raises funds to help families with seriously ill children.
