Overview
Kirat Goraya helps clients manage the challenges of an international workforce. She advises multinational companies on I-9 compliance and worksite enforcement issues, U.S. employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant visas, and labor certification applications. Kirat works with clients to develop immigration strategies and advocates on their behalf before the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and U.S. Department of Labor (DOL).
Prior Experience
Kirat brings substantive experience supporting the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Indiana as a legal intern. She also worked as a summer associate for the firm and a law clerk for Gresk & Singleton PC, in addition to participating in her law school’s immigration clinic through the Indiana Legal Services Immigrants’ and Language Rights Center.
