Faegre Drinker Continues Growth in London, Adding Cross-Border Litigator Jeremy Andrews

Faegre Drinker is pleased to announce that Jeremy Andrews has joined the firm as a business litigation partner in London. Andrews joins from a global law firm.

Andrews’ joining follows the recent growth in the firm’s London office, including investment management partner Michelle Moran and counsel Rupert Barnes, and the office’s relocation to the 18th floor at 8 Bishopsgate located in the heart of the financial district.

“I’m excited to have Jeremy join the team in what is another great addition to our growing office,” said London office leader Alex Denny. “His impressive skillset further strengthens our service offering to our international clients. We are looking forward to welcoming Jeremy and continuing our commitment to growth of the firm’s presence in London.”

With some 25 years’ experience, Andrews focuses his practice on cross-border litigation and international arbitration, serving clients in a multitude of industries, including in banking, manufacturing, health care and natural resources. He has represented client-investors from the United States to Pakistan at home and abroad, including in a $48 billion shareholder dispute relating to contracts entered into by a major commodity producer. Additionally, acting for trustees in a $1 billion lawsuit relating to the Madoff fraud in claw-back claims brought in the U.S. and English courts by the Securities Investor Protection Act-appointed Madoff trustee.

“Jeremy’s experience in handling complex corporate matters for international clients is second-to-none,” said business litigation team leader William Connolly. “His background in representing clients in high-demand industries such as banking, manufacturing and health care make him a great fit for our international litigation team, and I’m excited to have him on board.” 

Andrews received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Girton College at the University of Cambridge and earned his graduate and postgraduate diploma of law from the College of Law. He is an active member of the Commercial Fraud Lawyers’ Association and the London Solicitors’ Litigation Association.
