TEA National 2021 Conference

ERISA litigator and insurance/indemnification authority Rick Pearl will join an industry-leading lineup of speakers at The ESOP Association’s (TEA) National 2021 Conference. The three-day, hybrid event will host virtual and in-person employee-owners for rigorous advocacy training and peer-to-peer networking, with an impressive slate of breakout sessions based on attendees’ desired track.

For his part, Rick will co-lead a session with ComStock Advisor’s Nick Sypniewski titled “2020 ESOP Valuation Issues” focusing on the impact that the COVID-19 public health emergency, and other forces unique to 2020 and 2021, may have on fair market value. Additionally, the speakers will offer tips for documenting these issues in valuation reports or trustee notes, as well as insights into shifting trends in Department of Labor and private plaintiff actions.
