Baker & Daniels LLP has announced its top leadership positions for 2010, including the election of Rick Michaels and Chris Scanlon to three-year terms on the law firm's strategic and policy board.

Tom Froehle, Baker & Daniels chair and chief executive partner, appointed the following as members of the firm's executive committee:

Froehle also is a member of the executive committee, which is responsible for day-to-day operations of the firm. Members of Baker & Daniels' strategic and policy board include Froehle and Flower as well as:

The strategic and policy board's members are elected by the firm's partners, and as its name implies, the board is responsible for establishing the strategic direction and policies for the firm.

In addition to Michaels, Baker & Daniels' office managing partners are Dave Kuker in Fort Wayne, Rich Hill in South Bend and Dave Zook in Washington, D.C.

"Baker & Daniels' first goal always has been to meet the needs of our clients, and the firm's leadership teams will continue to focus on that goal by exploring ways to provide outstanding service," Froehle said. "Our leadership will pursue ways to become more efficient and operate more effectively so that we can deliver unmatched value to clients."

Froehle said Baker & Daniels remains committed to developing strategic initiatives to become better positioned to provide cost effective and valued service to all clients. Baker & Daniels also will continue to recruit quality lateral professionals to help add expertise, build practices and expand the firm.
