B&D Consulting Becomes FaegreBD Consulting in Law Firms' Combination

WASHINGTON, D.C. (01-January-2012) — Effective Jan. 1, 2012, B&D Consulting began operating as FaegreBD Consulting.

The name change coincides with the successful combination of legacy law firms, Faegre & Benson LLP and Baker & Daniels LLP. FaegreBD Consulting is the Washington D.C.-based national advisory and advocacy division of the new firm, Faegre Baker Daniels LLP.

As announced on October 12, 2011, partners at both legacy law firms voted in favor of combining the law firms. Faegre Baker Daniels has 815 lawyers and consultants in 13 offices. U.S. offices are located in Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa and Minnesota, with international offices in London, Beijing and Shanghai. The firm offers a full complement of legal services to clients ranging from emerging enterprises to multinational companies and handles complex transactions and litigation matters.

David R. Zook is the Chair of FaegreBD Consulting, and David U. Gogol is Vice Chair.

Andrew Humphrey serves as managing partner of Faegre Baker Daniels; Thomas Froehle is chief operating partner.
