Richard Goldman Elected Chairman Of PlanSmart NJ Board Of Directors
Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP Partner Richard S. Goldman has been elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of PlanSmart NJ, a statewide independent, nonprofit planning and research organization with over four decades of experience shaping land use policy in New Jersey.
Goldman is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group in the Princeton office, and focuses his practice on municipal land use law and real estate development, litigation, solar energy, and real estate leasing, financing, and transactions. In addition, he represents several independent schools. A former deputy attorney general, Goldman has continued his public service by serving as chair of several charities, including Young Audiences of NJ and the D&R Greenway Land Trust.
As chairman of PlanSmart NJ’s Board of Directors, Goldman now leads an organization with strong background and skills in economic development, environmental protection, land use law and development, as well as redevelopment, engineering and corporate interests.
PlanSmart NJ has worked for more than 40 years to find constructive solutions and create innovative tools and strategies to better inform land-use policy and decision-making in New Jersey.
