Debra Lappin to Consult on Strategic Planning at National Medical Research Event
The conference convenes sectors of the medical research industry and seeks to identify and cultivate partnership opportunities that will advance outcomes-driven medical research and the commercialization of new therapies. Partnering for Cures is hosted by FasterCures, a nonprofit think tank that works across sectors and diseases to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the medical research enterprise.
The event includes free, private one-on-one meetings for conference participants with leading experts from across the medical research field who will advise on a variety of commonly faced issues. Lappin, leader of the health and biosciences practice at FaegreBD Consulting, will serve as a strategic planning consultant, providing advice on business model issues such as establishing planning guidelines and timelines, conducting strategic analysis and organizational assessments, setting or changing strategic direction, refining goals and methods, approaching collaborations with both partners and funders, and mapping and measuring success.
