Larissa Whitman Move to Drinker Noted in Philadelphia Business Journal and Legal Intelligencer Blog

The Philadelphia Business Journal and Legal Intelligencer Blog both reported Larissa Whitman’s move to Drinker as partner in the Private Client Group.

The Journal notes that Larissa’s move was motivated by said the move was motivated by the firm’s expansive, 12-office geographic footprint, which includes major markets such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington, New York and Chicago.

“My clients are moving around more than they used to,” she said. “This was just a better fit for my practice. Drinker Biddle’s support system is great.”

Larissa is based in the firm’s Philadelphia office but maintains a client base in New Jersey, too, which made the firm’s Princeton and Florham Park offices attractive.

She said her client base is individuals and families with $1 million to $10 million in assets, though she also has some ultra-high-net-wealth clients for which she handles estate planning, personal legal and tax planning services.

The Legal Intelligencer Blog notes Private Client Group chair Lisa Presser’s statement that, ““Larissa is a wonderful addition to our private client group…. She has a high-profile client roster and is well regarded in our practice area. I am confident she will be a strong resource for our clients.”
