Trevor Belden Receives Indiana State Bar Association's 2014 Community Service Award

Faegre Baker Daniels partner Trevor Belden has received the Indiana State Bar Association's (ISBA) 2014 Community Service Award that honors an attorney's exceptional non-legal service work in their community.

Throughout his career, Belden has been active in a number of community service initiatives. He's been a leader at FaegreBD on community outreach projects that benefit the disadvantaged, and he has inspired many individuals in and outside the firm to become active in service projects. He co-founded IndyHub in 2005 – an organization that supports young professionals and encourages them to be involved and engaged in the city.  Other areas of service include the arts, economic development and education.

As partner in the firm's corporate practice, Belden counsels clients through a variety of corporate and commercial transactions. He has experience closing deals for corporate clients, venture capital and private equity funds, and public/private entities, commercial lenders and universities.

Belden earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2000. He received a bachelor's degree from Purdue University, graduating with highest distinction.
