Rachael Dettmann Spiegel Joins Food & Agriculture Team at FaegreBD

Rachael Dettmann Spiegel has joined the Denver office of Faegre Baker Daniels as an associate. She will focus on food litigation and regulatory issues and is also a member of FaegreBD's national food and agriculture industry team.

Dettmann Spiegel comes to FaegreBD from CoBank, where she worked as a senior economist focusing on market and regulatory issues in the animal protein and specialty crop markets. Earlier in her career, she spent two years as an economist at the USDA, researching specialty crop markets.

Dettman Spiegel brings significant knowledge of the interworking of the USDA and the federal regulatory environment. She has worked extensively with food and agriculture industry representatives, from growers to executive level business representatives. She will use her broad network in the industry and in-depth market experience to benefit FaegreBD's clients.

Dettmann Spiegel earned her law degree from Drake University Law School in 2012. She also holds master's and bachelor's degrees in applied economics from the University of Minnesota.
