Bob Stoll Speaks to Plenary Meeting of the Association of Corporate Patent Counsels

On January 25th, 2016, DC partner and co-chair of the IP group, Bob Stoll, delivered a one hour speech to the plenary meeting of the Association of Corporate Patent Counsels (ACPC) in Miami, Florida.  Bob focused the talk on how to receive early allowance of a patent application and detailed the Patent Advisor tool which helps direct applications to areas of the office that have higher allowance rates than other areas.  Bob also suggested changes to patent practice that the USPTO needed to consider as Russ Slifer, Deputy Director for the USPTO, was an attendee.  About 150 corporate patent counsels participated.
