Sylvia St. Clair Receives Award for Outstanding Pitch from The Chicago Committee

At the recent event put on by The Chicago Committee, Faegre Baker Daniels associate Sylvia Bokyung St. Clair received an award for Outstanding Pitch. St. Clair won for her formal business pitch in response to a mock request for qualifications (RFQ) to real in-house attorneys.

The Rate My Pitch event provides both instruction for and experiential learning by approximately 20 Chicago Committee member firm associates who have practiced from three to seven years. The program centers on associate professional development and relationship building abilities with respect to both internal firm relationships and external business relationships. It consists of real-life scenarios that associates may experience.

The Chicago Committee pursues racial and ethnic diversity in the legal profession by partnering with its law firm and corporate members in order to pilot sustainable institutional change at law firms and corporate legal departments, support professional development and encourage minority lawyers through training and leadership opportunities.
