19 Associates Join Faegre Baker Daniels in Six Practices

Nineteen new lawyers have joined Faegre Baker Daniels as associates in seven practices across five of the firm’s U.S. and international locations.

Associates are joining the firm’s locations in Denver, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, London and Minneapolis.

The additions include three new members of labor and employment practice; four new intellectual property members; three new product liability and environmental lawyers; four new business litigation attorneys; three new corporate lawyers; and two new real estate lawyers.

FaegreBD’s new associate lawyers are:

Denver

Heather Burgess practices with the firm’s product liability group. She received her law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2017 and her bachelor’s in political science and Spanish from the University of Michigan in 2011.

Fort Wayne

Elaena Harris is a litigation and advocacy lawyer focusing on product liability. Harris earned her law degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2017 and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Ohio State University in 2014, where she graduated magna cum laude.

Indianapolis

C. Daniel Parks practices with FaegreBD’s intellectual property group, where he focuses on international matters. He received his law degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2017 and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, magna cum laude, from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2013.

Kristina Coleman practices with the litigation and advocacy group. She earned her law degree, summa cum laude, from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2017 and a bachelor’s in operations management, with high distinction, from Indiana University in 2011.

Adriana Figueroa is a labor and employment lawyer. She received a law degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2015 and a bachelor’s degree in public affairs from Indiana University in 2009. Figueroa was a clerk for Chief Justice Judge Jane Magnus-Stinson of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District from 2015-17.

Blayre E. Marley practices with the firm’s business litigation group. She earned her law degree from Northwestern University School of Law in 2017 and a bachelor’s in English, magna cum laude, from Oakwood University in 2014.

Jason Rauch practices with the firm’s business litigation group. He earned his law degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2017 and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, with high distinction, from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in 2013. Before law school, Rauch was a police officer for nearly a decade with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

Allison Schten is a member of FaegreBD’s corporate and international groups. She earned her law degree from the University of Notre Dame’s School of Law in 2017 and bachelor’s degrees in economics and art history from Indiana University in 2014.

Amy Dunn practices with the firm’s litigation and advocacy team. She earned a law degree, cum laude, from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2017 and a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2007. Before joining FaegreBD, Dunn gained experience at the Indiana Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court of Southern Indiana, Rolls-Royce and Eli Lilly.

London

Jonathon Gunn is a corporate lawyer. He received his GDL in 2014 and his LPC, with distinction, in 2015 from Bloomsbury after earning his B.Sc with first class honors from the London School of Economics in 2011. He lived in East Asia for two years prior to joining FaegreBD and speaks Mandarin Chinese.

Katie Newman advises clients on labor and employment issues and helps with employment litigation matters. She earned her LPC, with commendation, from the London University of Law in 2015 and her BPP at London Law School in 2014, also with commendation. She earned a B.A. in English language and literature, with honors, in 2011.

Minneapolis

Keriann Riehle practices in the firm’s labor and employment group. She graduated at the top of her class from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2016 and earned her bachelor’s degree from Bemidji State University, magna cum laude, in 2012. She clerked for Justices G. Barry Anderson and Margaret H. Chutich of the Minnesota Supreme Court from 2016-17.

Sami Al-Marzoog works in the firm’s intellectual property group. He received his law degree in 2017 from the University of Virginia School of Law and his bachelor’s in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota in 2012. Before entering the legal profession, Al-Marzoog was a chemical engineer and environmental coordinator in Saudi Arabia.

David Archer is a litigator who helps clients resolve business and commercial disputes. He received his law degree from the University of Minnesota School of Law in 2017 and his bachelor’s degree in history from Grinnell College in 2005. Before entering the legal profession, Archer worked on education policy in the Minnesota Statehouse.

Sarah Bartlett works in the firm’s corporate group. She received her J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2017 and a bachelor’s in political science, with honors, from the University of Utah in 2012.

William Elliott is a member of the firm’s real estate team. He received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and bachelor’s degrees in economics and ethics and public policy, with distinction, in 2014.

Shannon Jankowski is a member of the firm’s trademark, copyright, advertising and media (T-CAM) practice. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2017 and a bachelor’s in theater, summa cum laude, from the College of St. Catherine.

Matt Lindgren practices in the firm’s real estate and construction litigation practices. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from University of Michigan Law School, a master’s in theological studies in religion, ethics and politics from Harvard Divinity School in 2014, and a bachelor’s in religion and mathematics, magna cum laude, from St. Olad College in 2010.

Elizabeth Scheibel is a member of the firm’s intellectual property group. She earned her law degree, summa cum laude, from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2017, a master of library and information science degree from St. Catherine University in 2011 and a bachelor’s in English from Macalester College in 2005. She previously served as a law librarian for a large Minneapolis law firm.
