Faegre Baker Daniels Adds Associate Michael Kaupa

Michael Kaupa has joined the business litigation group of the international law firm Faegre Baker Daniels. Kaupa will practice as an associate from the Minneapolis office.

Kaupa helps clients understand, comply with and solve controversies involving tax laws. He has experience advising on tax disputes and has represented clients in U.S. Tax Court. Prior to joining Faegre Baker Daniels, he practiced law with Mayer Brown in Chicago and was an associate in the state and local tax practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Chicago.  

Before his legal career, Kaupa worked in public accounting for Deloitte & Touche. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a law degree from Boston College Law School.
