Faegre Baker Daniels Short-Listed Among Top Immigration Firms in London

Faegre Baker Daniels was short-listed for the Immigration Provider of the Year award at the 2017 Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM) Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Expatriate Management & Mobility Awards (EMMAs). Additionally, immigration attorney, Claire Nilson, was runner-up in the highly competitive Global Mobility Professional of the Year category.

The Immigration Provider of the Year award recognizes a service provider who demonstrated best-in-class immigration support and compliance for their external and internal clients in the last year. The shortlist includes only 13 large and small service providers.

FaegreBD’s immigration and global mobility team assists clients worldwide with U.S. employment-based visa petitions, I-9 compliance, international visas and work permits, and strategic planning and execution of international transfers of employees. Through the firm’s offices in the U.S., U.K. and China, along with an international network of local counsel, the team advises and represents multinational companies transferring employees around the globe.

For the Global Mobility Professional of the Year award judges looked for evidence of a significant consistent record of achievement with regard to features such as quality of service delivery, innovation, knowledge, excellent client service and overall professional reputation.

Claire Nilson is a dual-qualified U.S. and U.K. immigration attorney with substantial experience in immigrant and non-immigrant visas. She is also qualified as an attorney at law of Trinidad and Tobago. Her practice includes advising both corporate and individual clients, with a particular emphasis on business, employment and consular processing issues.

The Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards are committed to honoring success, best practice and exceptional impact on global mobility.
