Samina Kapadia and Joel Sayres appointed to Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Programs
Faegre Baker Daniels has chosen Samina Kapadia to be a member of the 2017 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) class of Pathfinders, and Joel Sayres to be a member of the 2017 class of Fellows.
The Pathfinder program was designed to train early-career attorneys in critical career development strategies including leadership and the building of professional networks. The Fellows program was created to help identify, train and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession.
Kapadia is an associate in the construction and real estate advocacy group in Chicago. She supports clients during complex construction and real estate disputes and manages litigation from inception, through discovery, settlement trial and post-trial. She also provides counseling, advice and contract drafting assistance in connection with construction, procurement and real estate projects throughout the country.
Sayres, a partner in the firm’s intellectual property group in Denver, counsels clients in complex patent, trademark and copyright matters, with a focus on patent litigation and post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. He has litigated intellectual property disputes in venues throughout the United States, including patent infringement actions involving medical devices, storage systems, and fiber-optic communications.
