Trip DeMuth Named a ‘Top Litigator' by Law Week Colorado
Trip DeMuth, partner with Faegre Baker Daniels, has been named a 2018 ‘Top Litigator’ by Law Week Colorado.
The publication’s ‘Top Litigators’ survey aims to identify the leading trial attorneys in Colorado who had the biggest courtroom wins and saves over the last year. Law Week Colorado examined both primary and secondary accomplishments amongst attorneys, legal acumen, pro bono work, testimonials and more.
DeMuth’s primary accomplishment involved securing a complete dismissal of claims for a large firm client on the eve of a jury trial, saving the client—an insurance provider of a large apartment complex—millions of dollars.
Law Week Colorado also took note of DeMuth’s extensive pro bono work on the case of Clarence Moses-El, a man who spent 28 years in prison after being wrongfully convicted of rape. Counseling Moses-El for six years, DeMuth worked long hours with multiple private investigators and worked to establish grounds that a man named LC Jackson was the one responsible for the assault, not Moses-El. Eventually, Jackson confessed to the crime Moses-El was wrongfully convicted of.
While FaegreBD is one of the 75-largest law firms in the U.S., DeMuth notes that the firm maintains a personal level of attorney-client customer service that is a staple traditionally found amongst small practices.
“FaegreBD uses a boutique-style approach to serve clients across a multitude of industries,” DeMuth said. “We represent organizations both large and small, but each and every client can expect and will receive the same personal, boutique style of strong customer service. It is this method of attorney-client relationships that sets FaegreBD apart from other firms. Whether our client is a large corporation or single individual being represented pro bono, FaegreBD’s signature boutique-style approach applies uniformly.”
