Joan Neri Quoted in Ignites Article on Last-Ditch Effort to Save DOL Rule

Florham Park counsel Joan Neri was quoted in an article published in Ignites, a Financial Times Service, discussing the request recently filed by the states of New York, California and Oregon that the 5th Circuit reconsider its denial of their petition to intervene in the DOL fiduciary rule lawsuit. In the article, Joan characterizes this action as the “final shot in their attempt to keep the rule alive,” observing that the states’ motion is almost certain to be denied by the court. Joan further observes that “[t]he DOL has already exhibited in a few different ways the fact that they’re not going to fight this.”
