Abdullah Azkalany and Stephen Welling Join FaegreBD Des Moines Office as Fall Associates

Abdullah Azkalany and Stephen Welling have joined Faegre Baker Daniels as associates in the firm’s Des Moines office.
Azkalany is a commercial litigator with a focus on clients in the agribusiness space. He also defends product claims during all phases of litigation and collaborates with FaegreBD’s nationally recognized product liability team to establish and execute compelling defenses.
Azkalany earned his law degree (with high honors) from Drake University Law School in 2019 and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa in 2014.
Welling provides legal counsel to companies as they seek to grow their business, execute strategies and advance their goals. As a former consumer marketing analyst, he brings a business-savvy perspective to every client relationship.
Welling earned his law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2019 and received a Master of Business Administration degree in finance from the University of Iowa in 2019. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Brigham Young University in 2014.
