FaegreBD Attorneys Named to National Black Lawyers’ Top 40 Under 40 List

Faegre Baker Daniels associates Kristina Coleman, Elaena Harris and Blayre Marley have been named as ‘Top 40 Under 40’ attorneys in Indiana by The National Black Lawyers (NBL).

Honorees were nominated by leading attorneys and current members and recognized for their outstanding work in the legal community. The NBL celebrates legal excellence by promoting attorneys as subject matter experts, developing a strong national network of top African American attorneys, and facilitating the exchange of timely information to enable their members to maintain their status as leaders.

Coleman is a member of FaegreBD’s product liability team and supports several life sciences clients. She has played a key role in two trial teams defending life-saving medical products in both state and federal courts. Prior to joining the firm, Coleman clerked for the Honorable Sheryl Lynch in the Marion County Circuit Court. She received her law degree at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, graduating summa cum laude, and earned a bachelor’s degree in operations management, with high distinction at Indiana University, Bloomington.

Harris counsels clients on preventing and resolving disputes related to their products. As a member of FaegreBD’s product liability settlement team, she helps facilitate large settlement programs and assists with complex mass torts, toxic torts, multidistrict litigations and class actions. She earned her law degree from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and a bachelor’s degree magna cum laude, with honors from Ohio State University.

Marley is a litigator who assists corporate clients in defending and resolving complex commercial disputes, product liability litigation, and white collar defense and investigations. She has addressed a myriad of complicated issues for her clients, including antitrust claims, allegations of fraudulent inducement in corporate sales and anomalies in municipal finance. She also conducts the legal review of pharmaceutical promotional marketing materials for a large pharmaceutical manufacturer. Marley received her law degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in English, graduating magna cum laude from Oakwood University.
