Sanjyot Sangodkar Joins FaegreBD in Washington, D.C.
Sanjyot Sangodkar has joined Faegre Baker Daniels in Washington, D.C. as an advisor, focusing on matters related to public health, medical research and Federal Drug Administration compliance.
Before joining the firm, Sangodkar served as a project assistant with the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics, simultaneously coordinating the work of team members in projects focused on medical genetics, telegenetics and increasing medical care for underserved communities, including maintaining a national clinical services directory for underserved patients.
Sangodkar has worked with nonprofit organizations focused on improving the environment, economic sustainability and other global challenges. In these roles, she authored technical and educational reports and served as the point of contact for stakeholders, including private sector donors, international partners, and government officials.
Sangodkar worked as a special projects officer and capacity building and policy researcher with the United Nations (UN) Office for REDD+ Coordination in Indonesia. In these roles, she developed partnerships between the UN, non-governmental organizations and the Government of Indonesia. In addition, she recruited and supervised an international team of consultants in researching and developing guides on data collection and analysis.
Sangodkar received her master’s in environmental management from Duke University. She has a B.S. in evolutionary biology and ecology from the University of California, Irvine.
