Scott Wright Named to 2019 ‘Most Powerful Employment Attorneys - Immigration’ List by HRE and Lawdragon
Press Release
Scott Wright, FaegreBD partner, has been named to the 2019 ‘Most Powerful Employment Attorneys—Immigration’ list by Human Resource Executive and Lawdragon.
Wright, FaegreBD’s Labor & Employment Group leader, is recognized again this year for his expertise in immigration law—an honor he has received consecutively since 2011.
Moreover, only 20 attorneys nationwide are recognized on the immigration list annually. Wright continues to be the only lawyer from the Midwest to ever receive this designation in immigration law.
The publications’ honorary lists recognize employment lawyers who stand out in their ability to guide organizations through the constantly evolving laws governing workplaces. Honorees are selected after vigorous vetting—bar records are checked and peers and counsel are also examined for integrity.
With 30 years of experience in business immigration law, Wright is recognized nationally for his expertise on I-9 and immigration compliance matters.
Wright also represents employers who are subject to I-9 audits and other immigration-related investigations and enforcement actions involving various state and federal agencies, in particular involving the U.S. Department of Justice, Department of Homeland Security, Immigration & Customs Enforcement, Department of Labor, and the Department of State.
