Faegre Drinker Recognized as a Top Law Firm for Cross-Border Restructuring and Insolvency Matters by Global Restructuring Review

Global Restructuring Review (GRR) has named Faegre Drinker as one of the world’s leading law firms for cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters in the “GRR 100” 2021. Now in its fifth edition, the “GRR 100” 2021 features 152 firms from 36 jurisdictions, the most comprehensively compiled edition yet. Faegre Drinker was listed at number 22 on the “GRR 30” 2021 list, the publication’s ranking of the standout firms in the “GRR 100.”

The publication highlighted Faegre Drinker as a new entrant to the GRR 100, with the launch of the firm’s cross-border insolvency practice in June 2020 and hires of transnational restructuring and insolvency practice co-leaders James Conlan and Patrick Corr, and the later addition of partner Sue Moore. “The lawyers in the new restructuring group have worked on some of the cross-border world’s landmark cases over the past couple of decades,” said GRR in the firm’s write up.

Faegre Drinker’s write up also included client feedback. “I view them as a highly trusted advisor and a key extension of our in-house legal department,” said one client. “I would definitely recommend this team to other similarly situated clients.”

The “GRR 100” 2021 is the product of almost 12 months of extensive research and writing, including detailed questionnaires sent to hundreds of law firms around the world that seek input on the history of each firm’s restructuring and insolvency practice, its notable past cases, its key names to know and any other characteristics worth highlighting.
