Health Policy Analyst Kacey Buderi Joins Faegre Drinker Consulting in Washington, D.C.
Faegre Drinker announced today that Kacey Buderi has joined the firm as director with Faegre Drinker Consulting in the Washington, D.C. office. She joins the firm from Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commission (MACPAC) where she was a senior analyst.
Buderi will partner with clients to develop analysis-based strategies regarding legislative and regulatory developments affecting the health care industry. She brings extensive experience as a health policy analyst and Medicaid subject matter authority.
“Kacey’s extensive knowledge on Medicaid and experience working with commissioners, congressional staff and a variety of stakeholders is going to be greatly valuable to our clients,” said David Zook, leader of the firm’s government and regulatory affairs practice group. “We are thrilled to welcome Kacey and her collaborative spirit to our consulting team.”
At MACPAC, Buderi led research projects and policy discussions on a range of Medicaid topics including: design, implementation, and evaluation of Section 1115 demonstrations, non-emergency medical transportation, managed care procurement and program integrity, delivery system and payment reform initiatives, state public option proposals, Medicaid in Puerto Rico, the role of Medicaid for American Indians and Alaska Natives and opportunities to expand the role of community health workers in Medicaid.
Buderi earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree from American University School of Public Affairs.
