B.J. Nodzon Named to Minnesota Lawyer’s ‘The POWER 30: Real Estate and Construction Law 2022’ List

Construction and real estate litigation partner B.J. Nodzon was selected to Minnesota Lawyer’s “The POWER 30: Real Estate and Construction Law 2022” list, which focuses on those whose mere presence on a case signifies the stakes, who have influenced the direction of the law, whose leadership in the community is pervasive and whose respect within the bar is undeniable.

To select honorees, Minnesota Lawyer interviewed respected attorneys and other leaders throughout the state, reviewed outcomes of numerous significant cases and consulted the publication’s archives to recognize accomplished, powerful and influential real estate and construction attorneys.

In his practice at Faegre Drinker, Nodzon drafts and negotiates billions of dollars’ worth of construction, design, automation, supply chain and procurement contracts. He represents project owners, developers, contractors, engineers and designers in connection with some of the most significant projects throughout the country. Nodzon helps clients manage and evaluate risks and assists clients in resolving disputes.

In a feature profile, Nodzon noted that the past year saw a significant increase in infrastructure work, such as construction contracts. He also mentioned that clients throughout the U.S. are looking toward energy alternatives and working on projects involving wind power, solar energy, highways and industrial construction.

Additionally, Nodzon explained that manufacturers are upgrading facilities to meet increased demand for industrial projects and automation systems. He further stated that there is continued pressure on goods for projects, causing disruptions and delays. Lastly, the publication highlighted Nodzon’s involvement in Faegre Drinker’s pro bono representation in Housing Court and his work with clients to provide services to women and minority businesses.
