Maria Lewis Named 2023 “Women of Influence” Honoree by the Philadelphia Business Journal

Chief Diversity Officer Maria Lewis has been selected as an honoree of the Philadelphia Business Journal’s 2023 “Women of Influence” program. This program, celebrating its 30th anniversary, annually highlights the most influential businesswomen from every industry and profession who make a difference in the Greater Philadelphia's business community.

Lewis was recognized for her ongoing efforts to help advance Faegre Drinker’s commitment and ability to build a more diverse, equitable and inclusive law firm and legal community. As a member of the firm’s Executive Leadership Team, Lewis helps to drive the strategic direction and growth of the firm.

Lewis is also a dedicated community leader. She serves as the co-president of the board of the Philadelphia Diversity Law Group, board member of the LEADERSHIP Philadelphia, and advisory board member of the Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia, Inc. Additionally, Lewis is an ordained reverend at the Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church in Philadelphia.
