Bonnie Barnett Elected as Fellow to American College of Environmental Lawyers
Co-leader of the firm’s environmental and energy practice team and partner Bonnie Barnett has been elected to the 2024 class of American College of Environmental Lawyers (ACOEL) fellows.
Membership to the ACOEL is extended by invitation only to attorneys with a depth of experience in – and has made substantial contributions to – the field of environmental law.
With over 30 years of litigation and advisory experience, Barnett defends clients in large-scale environmental disputes and advises them on regulatory compliance and business and real estate transactions. She is one of the country’s top Superfund lawyers and is valued for her experience with remediating contaminated sediment sites and helping clients with the allocation of remedial costs.
Formed in 2007, the ACOEL members are dedicated to maintaining and improving the ethical practice of environmental law, the administration of justice, and the development of environmental law through rigorous focus, outreach and education in all forums — federal, state, municipal, tribal and international.
