Faegre Drinker Recognized by Seramount as one of the ‘Best Law Firm for Women and Diversity’

Faegre Drinker has been named to Seramount’s “Best Law Firm for Women and Diversity” 2024 list. Seramount annually surveys law firms to benchmark best practices for recruiting, retaining, developing and advancing attorneys who identify as underrepresented in the legal profession.

Seramount’s survey includes more than 300 questions regarding workplace policies that include flexibility, paid time off and parental leaves, along with representation of leadership across various levels and inclusive efforts to develop talent and build connections throughout the firm.

Faegre Drinker continues to put focus toward promoting and growing diversity equity and inclusion in the workforce. The firm’s client DEI dashboard, piloted in 2022, customizes information in real-time and serves as a guide for measuring inclusivity of client teams based on objective criteria for accountability. In 2023, the firm was recognized as a “Legal Services Innovation” finalist by The American Lawyer for its work in creating the dashboard which measures the inclusivity of client teams. Read more about the client DEI dashboards in Seramount’s blog post.

Faegre Drinker is also proud to be recognized by Diversity Lab as a Mansfield Certified Plus firm. The firm has participated in the Mansfield Rule since its inception in 2017 and our designation as a “Certified Plus” law firm indicates that the firm has not only taken steps to increase inclusivity in leadership but has also made measured progress in doing so.

Seramount’s “Best Law Firms for Women and Diversity” will be honored at the annual Gala Awards Dinner on Oct. 24 in New York City.
