Faegre Drinker Advises Peratech Through $31.5 Million Investment Financing
A Faegre Drinker team of London attorneys Gary Bellingham, Huw Beverley-Smith, Melanie Wadsworth, Gary Laitner, Charlotte Perowne and Jeanine Leahy advised Peratech, a global leader in force and haptic-based user interfaces, through a finance closing resulting in $31.5 million in new investments.
Peratech will use the proceeds to scale commercialisation of their patented Quantum Tunnelling Composite (QTC®) based force sensing, haptic feedback, and Hydra® user-interface software. Specifically, Peratech will use the funds to continue new-product launches with leading electronics developers for keyboards, trackpads and other devices in the computer, and gaming, and automotive industries.
“It was a pleasure working with the Faegre Drinker team to leverage their previous experience and close this complex transaction” said Jon Stark, CEO of Peratech. “I especially appreciated the initiative and efficiency Faegre Drinker showed in addressing the intellectual property and structuring aspects of the deal, which actions enabled us to achieve such a successful outcome.
