Privilege Issues: They’re Not Just For Litigators Anymore

Partners Joanne Lewers and Brian Lynch, along with Jackie Meredith-Batchelor (Associate General Counsel with Amtrak), presented a program titled “Privilege Issues:  They’re Not Just For Litigators Anymore” at the Association of Corporate Counsel, Greater Philadelphia Chapter’s Ethics and Compliance Institute on December 3, 2015. 

This program focused on the attorney work product doctrine, the attorney-client privilege and the common interest doctrine in a host of contexts, including internal investigations, mergers and acquisitions, pre-acquisition communications discussing the validity and enforceability of patents, tax opinions and business counseling.  Joanne and Brian also addressed recent court rulings on key privilege issues.
