U.S. & U.K. Immigration – The Impact of Trump and Brexit on Business Travel and Your Workforce

An International Business Briefing Webinar

Overview

Note: This is the first in a new series of bimonthly webinars hosted by FaegreBD’s international practice. The series will tackle timely issues of importance for companies whose business and growth objectives are international in scope.

Over the past year, President Trump’s immigration policies have produced ongoing changes and restrictions on the ability of business people to travel to the United States. On the other side of the pond, the upcoming Brexit is also expected to deliver changes, promising an ongoing state of flux on international travel policy. The U.K. and U.S. Immigration & Global Mobility team at Faegre Baker Daniels invites you to a free webinar reviewing best practices for your workforce and their business travel.

This 60-minute informal and interactive session will discuss:

  • U.S. Immigration Policy Review: Examining policy changes from the past year and anticipating further changes that may be on the horizon.
  • Brexit: Explaining Brexit and discussing where we stand currently in the Brexit process.
  • Post-Brexit: Attempting to forecast the post-Brexit immigration landscape.
  • Action Items for International Businesses: Best practices for businesses to prepare for developments related to Brexit and U.S. immigration policies.

An application for standard Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit will be submitted in multiple states. The program will also be submitted to the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) for continuing education credit review.

There is no fee to participate. However, you must register in advance.
