Event Recap
October 02, 2018
Privacy and Cybersecurity Summit
Minneapolis, MN
Overview
2018 has been a year of dramatic change in the privacy and cybersecurity landscape and 2019 promises to bring even more. In both the European Union General Data Protection Regulation the California Consumer Protection Act, lawmakers passed landmark data privacy legislation that will have lasting, global implications. At the same time, ever-changing threats, stringent security and reporting requirements, and the potential for litigation and regulatory enforcement actions are compelling organizations across all sectors to make cybersecurity a board-level priority.
In this summit, privacy and cybersecurity leaders will assess the broader implications of these and other developments and provide insight and practical solutions for anticipating and responding to these compliance challenges.
An application for standard continuing legal education (CLE) credit will be submitted.
