Brexit: Current State of Play and Implications for U.S. Businesses

An International Business Briefing Webinar

Overview

This is part of a bimonthly webinar series hosted by Faegre Baker Daniels’ international team. The series will tackle timely issues of importance for companies whose business and growth objectives are international in scope.

The United Kingdom is due to leave the European Union on March 29, 2019, unless the Brexit process is extended. U.S. businesses with operations or customers in the EU will need to prepare for a more complex regulatory regime with parallel sets of regulations following the Brexit transition period. If a withdrawal agreement is not concluded by March 29, the U.K. faces a ‘No-Deal Brexit’ where the U.K. would leave the EU with no transitional arrangements, which could seriously disrupt international businesses.

Join us for an update on the current state of play as Brexit day approaches, with specialist coverage of a number of areas including:

  • Immigration and global mobility
  • Financial services regulation
  • International data transfers, GDPR and intellectual property
  • Disputes and enforcement of judgments
  • International trade and a future U.K./U.S. trade deal

Have a scheduling conflict? Register for the live event, and we'll send you the on-demand recording shortly after the broadcast date.
