Contracting for CCPA Compliance

The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) will be one of the most significant data privacy laws in the United States, requiring considerable effort to meet the CCPA’s operative date of January 1, 2020, and its likely July 1, 2020, date for enforcement. Jeremiah Posedel and Reed Abrahamson discussed contracting and the exceptions to the definition of sale.
