Navigating Tariffs Under the Trump Administration

Webinar

Overview

Please join us for the second installment of Faegre Drinker's Customs and Trade Webinar Series to learn how to navigate and mitigate the threat of recent tariffs and preserve your business’ operational and financial performance.

The current administration has leveraged tariffs to address an unprecedented variety of political and socioeconomic threats. With the globalization of manufacturing, supply chains and international customer bases, companies find themselves in the middle of the Trump Administration’s trade disputes. There are, however, opportunities to mitigate the impact of increased duty liability and importers should proactively evaluate their imported products and supply chains to identify duty savings opportunities.

Topics will include:

  • Review of duty mitigation strategies, including tariff classification, country of origin determination and valuation considerations for imported merchandise
  • Update on continued opportunities for navigating Section 232 and Section 301 tariffs
  • Understand AD/CVD scope ruling requests and consider anti-circumvention implications of duty mitigation strategies
