How to Deal with Troubled Loans and Avoid Lender Liability

In a one-hour webinar, the team discussed the Spring Semiannual Risk Perspective released on June 29 by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) wherein the OCC noted that operational risk is elevated as banks implement new processes and procedures to work in a COVID-19 world and to deal with increasing loan losses. The program covered issues related to default, work-outs, and preparing for bankruptcies, with an emphasis on spotting and avoiding lender liability issues.
