12th Annual Chicago Private Equity Roundtable

Corporate partners Adam Weinstock and David Rubenstein joined senior executives from GF Data to discuss “Riding the Wave: Catching Opportunities in the Post-COVID M&A Market.” The 12th installment in the firm’s Annual Private Equity Roundtable, the discussion involved more than 30 thought leaders placing private equity-backed M&A transactions ranging from $10 million to $250 million under the microscope. The presenters and the panel of PE sponsors, investment bankers, lenders and other deal professionals examined the current red-hot deal market, combining personal insights with data on more than 3,600 transactions across 200-plus NAICS categories. The roundtable, which also included Faegre Drinker corporate partner Adam Rosenthal, also zeroed in on the industries that continued to execute high-impact deals amid pandemic-related uncertainty and discussed expectations for the rest of 2021 and beyond.
