College of St. Scholastica 2021 Commencement
Overview
The College of St. Scholastica is hosting a modified, in-person spring commencement on Saturday, May 15. A virtual ceremony is also available to stream on May 15 at https://virtualgrad.marchingorder.com/css/326/i.
The virtual ceremony will feature a commencement address from Chris Dolan ’01, current member of the college's Board of Trustees and partner with Faegre Drinker in Minneapolis. Chris tells graduates, “you will change the world most effectively by listening and asking good questions.” He continues: “The best lawyers I know listen deeply and ask good questions that elicit others to share their truth. Many of you are driven to make the world a better place, and I have no doubt that you will. But building real systemic change begins by authentically and deeply listening to others with what St. Benedict called ‘the ear of the heart.’”
St. Scholastica is a 109-year-old private, independent college founded in the Catholic Benedictine tradition. It is nationally recognized for quality and value. The Center for First-Generation Student Success has named St. Scholastica one of the top colleges for commitment to first-generation students.
